Overview Astra BB RSI Arrows is a visual trading indicator based on Bollinger Bands and RSI. The indicator is designed to help traders identify potential entry and exit points directly on the chart. It draws Bollinger Bands, shows BUY and SELL arrows, displays exit marks, and can send different types of notifications. The indicator does not open or close trades automatically. It is an analytical and visual signal tool. Every trading decision must be made by the trader. 2. Main Concept The indicator combines two market analysis ideas: Bollinger Bands show dynamic price boundaries and help detect possible overextension zones. RSI helps identify overbought and oversold market conditions. A potential BUY signal appears when price interacts with the lower Bollinger Band and RSI confirms oversold conditions or a recovery from them. A potential SELL signal appears when price interacts with the upper Bollinger Band and RSI confirms overbought conditions or a recovery from them. 3. Installation in MetaTrader 5 1. Open MetaTrader 5. 2. Click File -> Open Data Folder. 3. Open the MQL5 folder. 4. Open the Indicators folder. 5. Copy BB_RSI_Signal_Alerts.mq5 into this folder. 6. Open MetaEditor. 7. Compile the file. 8. Restart MetaTrader 5 or refresh the Navigator window. 9. Attach the indicator to the required chart. 4. Installation in MetaTrader 4 1. Open MetaTrader 4. 2. Chart Visualization The indicator displays the following elements: BB Upper - the upper Bollinger Band. BB Middle - the middle Bollinger Band. BB Lower - the lower Bollinger Band. Buy Entry - an upward arrow showing a potential BUY entry. Sell Entry - a downward arrow showing a potential SELL entry. Buy Exit - an exit mark for a BUY position. Sell Exit - an exit mark for a SELL position. 6. Entry Signals BUY Entry: In the default mode, a BUY signal appears when price returns inside the lower Bollinger Band and RSI crosses upward from the oversold zone. SELL Entry: In the default mode, a SELL signal appears when price returns inside the upper Bollinger Band and RSI crosses downward from the overbought zone. 7. Exit Signals The indicator can show exit signals based on three conditions: Middle Band Exit: A BUY exit can appear when price reaches or crosses the middle Bollinger Band from below. A SELL exit can appear when price reaches or crosses the middle Bollinger Band from above. RSI Exit: A BUY exit can appear when RSI reaches the selected BUY exit level. A SELL exit can appear when RSI reaches the selected SELL exit level. Opposite Signal Exit: A BUY exit can appear when a new SELL signal is detected. A SELL exit can appear when a new BUY signal is detected. 8. Input Settings Bollinger Bands Settings: InpBandsPeriod Bollinger Bands period. Default value: 20. InpBandsShift Bollinger Bands shift. Default value: 0. InpBandsDeviation Bollinger Bands deviation. Default value: 2.0. InpAppliedPrice Applied price used for Bollinger Bands and RSI. Default value: Close price. RSI Settings: InpRSIPeriod RSI calculation period. Default value: 14. InpRSIOversold RSI oversold level. Default value: 30. InpRSIOverbought RSI overbought level. Default value: 70. InpRSIExitBuyLevel RSI level for BUY exit logic. Default value: 50. InpRSIExitSellLevel RSI level for SELL exit logic. Default value: 50. Signal Settings: InpSignalMode Signal calculation mode. 0 = Touch + RSI Zone. A BUY signal appears when price touches or moves below the lower Bollinger Band while RSI is in the oversold zone. A SELL signal appears when price touches or moves above the upper Bollinger Band while RSI is in the overbought zone. 1 = Bollinger Band Re-entry + RSI Cross. A BUY signal appears when price returns inside the lower Bollinger Band and RSI crosses upward from the oversold zone. A SELL signal appears when price returns inside the upper Bollinger Band and RSI crosses downward from the overbought zone. Default value: 1. InpUseMiddleBandExit Enables or disables exit signals based on the middle Bollinger Band. InpUseRSIExit Enables or disables exit signals based on RSI exit levels. InpUseOppositeExit Enables or disables exit signals based on the opposite entry signal. InpArrowOffsetPoints Distance between arrows/exit marks and the candle in points. InpNotifyOnClosedBar If true, notifications are sent only after a candle closes. If false, notifications can be sent on the current forming candle. InpAlertOnAttach If false, the indicator will not send old historical signals immediately after being attached to the chart. If true, the indicator may notify about the latest detected signal when attached. Notification Settings: InpPopupAlert Enables popup alerts in the terminal. InpPushNotification Enables push notifications to the MetaTrader mobile app. InpEmailNotification Enables email notifications. InpSoundAlert Enables sound alerts. InpPrintToJournal Enables messages in the terminal Journal. InpChartComment Shows the latest signal as a comment on the chart. InpSoundFile Sound file name used for sound alerts. Default value: alert.wav. InpEmailSubject Email subject used for email notifications. 9. How to Use the Indicator 1. Attach the indicator to the chart. 2. Select the required timeframe and trading instrument. 3. Adjust Bollinger Bands and RSI settings if needed. 4. Choose the signal mode. 5. Enable the required notification types. 6. Wait for a BUY or SELL arrow. 7. Check market context before opening a trade. 8. Use exit marks as a warning that the current signal may be losing strength. 9. Always apply risk management. 10. Notification Setup Notes Push notifications require MetaQuotes ID to be configured in the MetaTrader terminal. Email notifications require email settings to be configured in the MetaTrader terminal. Sound alerts require the selected sound file to exist in the terminal sounds folder. If notifications do not work, check the terminal settings first. 11. InpUseMiddleBandExit Включает или отключает сигналы выхода по средней линии Bollinger Bands. InpUseRSIExit Включает или отключает сигналы выхода по уровням RSI. InpUseOppositeExit Включает или отключает сигналы выхода по противоположному сигналу входа. InpArrowOffsetPoints Расстояние между стрелками/отметками выхода и свечой в пунктах. InpNotifyOnClosedBar Если true, уведомления отправляются только после закрытия свечи. Если false, уведомления могут отправляться на текущей формирующейся свече. InpAlertOnAttach Если false, индикатор не отправляет старые исторические сигналы сразу после добавления на график. Если true, индикатор может отправить уведомление о последнем найденном сигнале при добавлении на график. Настройки уведомлений: InpPopupAlert Включает всплывающие уведомления в терминале. InpPushNotification Включает push-уведомления в мобильное приложение MetaTrader. InpEmailNotification Включает email-уведомления. InpSoundAlert Включает звуковые уведомления.
