USER GUIDE Quantum SuperTrend AI Alerts MT5 1. Purpose Quantum SuperTrend AI Alerts MT5 is a notification indicator and on-chart dashboard for MetaTrader 5. The indicator does not generate its own trading signals. It works together with the main Quantum SuperTrend AI indicator, reads its signals via iCustom(), and sends notifications when entry or exit signals appear. For full operation, two indicators are required: 1) Quantum SuperTrend AI — the main signal indicator. 2) Quantum SuperTrend AI Alerts MT5 — the notification and dashboard indicator. 2. Important Requirement Quantum SuperTrend AI Alerts MT5 works only when the main Quantum SuperTrend AI indicator is installed. The main indicator must be purchased and installed separately. After installation, both indicators must be located in the MetaTrader 5 folder: MQL5/Indicators/ If the main indicator is installed in a subfolder, the path must be specified in the Alerts indicator settings. Example: Market\Quantum SuperTrend AI 3. Installation 1) Open MetaTrader 5. 2) Go to File → Open Data Folder. 3) Open MQL5 → Indicators. 4) Copy the Quantum SuperTrend AI file into the Indicators folder. 5) Copy the Quantum SuperTrend AI Alerts MT5 file into the Indicators folder. 6) Restart MetaTrader 5 or click Refresh in the Navigator window. 7) Open the desired chart. 8) First attach the main Quantum SuperTrend AI indicator to the chart. 9) Then attach Quantum SuperTrend AI Alerts MT5 to the same chart. 4. Required Setting After Installation For Market validation compatibility, the connection to the main indicator is disabled by default. To start reading signals, open the Quantum SuperTrend AI Alerts MT5 settings and set: InpEnableSourceConnection = true Then enter the exact name of the main indicator: InpSourceIndicatorName = Quantum SuperTrend AI The name must match the main indicator file name exactly, without the .ex5 or .mq5 extension. If the main indicator is located in a subfolder, enter the path: InpSourceIndicatorName = Market\Quantum SuperTrend AI 5. Matching Settings The settings of the main indicator and the Alerts indicator must match. Check especially: InpATRPeriod InpSTMultiplier InpCalculationBars InpATRTakeProfitMultiplier InpUseAIExit InpUseADXFilter InpADXPeriod InpADXMinValue InpUseRSIFilter InpRSIPeriod InpRSIBuyMin InpRSISellMax InpUseAIFilter InpAIMinScore AI weight parameters If the settings are different, alerts and dashboard values may not match the visual signals of the main indicator. 6. Notification Types The indicator can send: Popup Alert in MetaTrader 5. Push Notification to a mobile device. Email Notification. Sound Alert. Terminal Log messages. Main notification parameters: InpUsePopupAlert — enable popup alerts. InpUsePushNotification — enable push notifications. InpUseEmail — enable email notifications. InpUseSound — enable sound alerts. InpPrintToLog — print messages to the terminal log. 7. Push Notification Setup To receive push notifications on your phone: 1) Install the MetaTrader 5 mobile app. 2) Open the mobile app. 3) Find your MetaQuotes ID. 4) In desktop MetaTrader 5, open Tools → Options → Notifications. 5) Enable Push Notifications. 6) Enter your MetaQuotes ID. 7) Click Test. 8) In the indicator settings, set InpUsePushNotification = true. 8. Dashboard Quantum SuperTrend AI Alerts MT5 displays an information dashboard on the chart. The dashboard shows: Product name. Notification status. Trading symbol. Timeframe. Current position: Open BUY, Open SELL, or No open position. Entry price. Stop Loss based on the opposite SuperTrend line. Take Profit. Entry time. Time in trade. 9. Moving the Dashboard The dashboard can be moved around the chart. To move it, hold the top header area where the indicator name is displayed and drag the panel to the desired location. While the dashboard is being moved, chart movement is temporarily locked. After the mouse button is released, chart movement is restored automatically. The parameter: InpLockChartDragForPanel = true is recommended to remain enabled. 10. ALERTS ON / ALERTS OFF Button The dashboard includes a button: ALERTS ON / ALERTS OFF It allows you to quickly enable or disable notifications directly from the chart. If the button shows ALERTS ON, notifications are active. If the button shows ALERTS OFF, notifications are disabled. 11. Signals Monitored by the Indicator Quantum SuperTrend AI Alerts MT5 monitors the following events from the main indicator: Open BUY — buy signal. Open SELL — sell signal. ATR Take Profit — exit by ATR Take Profit. SuperTrend Reverse — exit by opposite SuperTrend signal. AI Exit — exit by AI Exit. 12. Recommended Startup Sequence 1) Attach Quantum SuperTrend AI to the chart. 2) Configure the main indicator. 3) Attach Quantum SuperTrend AI Alerts MT5 to the same chart. 4) Set InpEnableSourceConnection = true. 5) Enter the correct main indicator name in InpSourceIndicatorName. 6) Copy the main indicator settings into the Alerts indicator. 7) Enable the required notification types. 8) Test the setup on a demo account. 13. Common Issues Issue: The dashboard shows Source OFF. Reason: InpEnableSourceConnection is set to false. Solution: Set InpEnableSourceConnection = true. Issue: The dashboard shows Source missing. Reason: The Alerts indicator cannot find the main indicator. Solution: Check InpSourceIndicatorName and make sure the main indicator is installed and compiled. Issue: Push notifications do not arrive on the phone. Reason: Push notifications are not configured in MetaTrader 5. Solution: Check Tools → Options → Notifications and your MetaQuotes ID. Issue: Dashboard signals do not match the main indicator. Reason: The parameters of the two indicators are different. Solution: Check and synchronize ATR, SuperTrend, ADX, RSI, AI Filter, and Take Profit settings. 14. Important Notice Quantum SuperTrend AI Alerts MT5 is a notification and monitoring tool. It does not open, modify, or close trades automatically. It is not an Expert Advisor. The indicator is designed only to read signals from the main Quantum SuperTrend AI indicator and send notifications. Test all settings on a demo account before using them in live trading.
