Quantum SuperTrend AI User Guide for MetaTrader 5 Indicator Document version: 1.00 ============================================================ 1. INDICATOR PURPOSE ============================================================ Quantum SuperTrend AI is designed for visual analysis of trend signals in MetaTrader 5. It displays SuperTrend direction, entry arrows, dynamic ATR Take Profit levels, exit markers, rejected signals, and on-chart statistics. The indicator is not an Expert Advisor. It does not send trade orders and does not manage positions automatically. Its purpose is to provide a clear visual structure for manual analysis and decision-making. ============================================================ 2. INSTALLATION ============================================================ Copy the file: Quantum_SuperTrend_AI.ex5 to the following MetaTrader 5 folder: MQL5/Indicators/ You can open the data folder from the terminal menu: File -> Open Data Folder -> MQL5 -> Indicators After copying the file, refresh the Indicators list in Navigator or restart MetaTrader 5. Then add the indicator to a chart: Navigator -> Indicators -> Quantum SuperTrend AI ============================================================ 3. WHAT THE INDICATOR SHOWS ON THE CHART ============================================================ The green SuperTrend line shows bullish market mode. The red SuperTrend line shows bearish market mode. A green Buy arrow appears after a confirmed buy signal. A red Sell arrow appears after a confirmed sell signal. The blue ATR Take Profit line and marker show the dynamic take-profit target. The yellow marker shows an exit by reverse SuperTrend signal. The violet marker shows AI Exit when this feature is enabled. Dark green and maroon markers show SuperTrend signals rejected by the active filters. ============================================================ 4. ENTRY LOGIC ============================================================ The base signal is generated when SuperTrend changes direction. Buy signal: SuperTrend changes from bearish to bullish. Sell signal: SuperTrend changes from bullish to bearish. If filters are disabled, the indicator shows all base SuperTrend reversal signals. If ADX, RSI, or AI Filter is enabled, the signal is shown only after all active filters are passed. Example Buy logic: SuperTrend = Buy ADX >= selected minimum value RSI >= selected Buy level AI Score >= selected minimum score Example Sell logic: SuperTrend = Sell ADX >= selected minimum value RSI <= selected Sell level AI Score >= selected minimum score ============================================================ 5. EXIT LOGIC ============================================================ After an entry, the indicator checks which exit event occurs first. Exit priority: 1. ATR Take Profit 2. AI Exit, if enabled 3. Reverse SuperTrend signal If price reaches ATR Take Profit, the virtual trade is counted as winning. If the opposite SuperTrend signal appears before ATR Take Profit, the virtual trade is counted as losing. If AI Exit is enabled, the trade may be closed earlier when AI Score for the active direction falls below the selected level. ATR Take Profit has priority. If price reaches ATR Take Profit on the same candle where another exit condition appears, the trade is counted as winning. ============================================================ 6. STATISTICS PANEL ============================================================ The statistics panel shows: WR Total trades Winning trades Losing trades WR means the percentage of winning virtual trades calculated by the indicator logic. A trade is counted as winning if price reaches ATR Take Profit before reverse SuperTrend or AI Exit. A trade is counted as losing if reverse SuperTrend or AI Exit occurs before ATR Take Profit. The currently open virtual trade is not included in the statistics until it is closed by one of the exit conditions. ============================================================ 7. FILTER PANEL ============================================================ The filter panel shows the latest SuperTrend signal and the status of active filters. It may display: Last ST signal ADX RSI AI Score Final entry filter Rejected Buy Rejected Sell Status meanings: PASS - the condition is satisfied. FAIL - the condition is not satisfied. OFF - the filter is disabled. Final entry filter: PASS means the signal is accepted. FAIL means one or more active filters blocked the signal. ============================================================ 8. MAIN SUPERTREND PARAMETERS ============================================================ InpATRPeriod This parameter sets the ATR period used for SuperTrend calculation. Common starting values: 10 14 InpSTMultiplier This parameter sets the distance of the SuperTrend line from price. Lower values generate more signals and make the system more aggressive. Higher values generate fewer signals and make the system more conservative. Examples: 2.0 - more aggressive, more signals 3.0 - balanced mode 4.0 - more conservative, fewer signals ============================================================ 9. ATR TAKE PROFIT ============================================================ InpShowATRTakeProfit Enables or disables the ATR Take Profit level on the chart. InpATRTakeProfitMultiplier Sets the ATR multiplier used to calculate the take-profit target. Formula for Buy: TP = Entry + ATR x Multiplier Formula for Sell: TP = Entry - ATR x Multiplier Common examples: 2.0 - close target 3.0 - balanced target 4.0 - wider target ATR Take Profit adapts to market volatility. When volatility increases, the target becomes wider. When volatility decreases, the target becomes closer. ============================================================ 10. ADX FILTER ============================================================ InpUseADXFilter Enables or disables the ADX entry filter. InpADXPeriod Sets the ADX period. InpADXMinValue Sets the minimum ADX value required for entry. Example: ADX >= 20 If ADX is below 20, the SuperTrend signal is rejected. ADX measures trend strength, not direction. It is used to avoid weak or sideways market conditions. ============================================================ 11. RSI FILTER ============================================================ InpUseRSIFilter Enables or disables the RSI entry filter. InpRSIPeriod Sets the RSI period. InpRSIBuyMin Sets the minimum RSI value required for Buy signals. InpRSISellMax Sets the maximum RSI value required for Sell signals. Example: Buy is allowed if RSI >= 55 Sell is allowed if RSI <= 45 A softer mode: Buy RSI = 50 Sell RSI = 50 A stricter mode: Buy RSI = 55-60 Sell RSI = 40-45 ============================================================ 12. AI FILTER ============================================================ InpUseAIFilter Enables or disables the AI entry filter. InpAIMinScore Sets the minimum AI Score required for entry. AI Score is a local scoring model calculated inside the indicator. It does not use external servers, APIs, neural network requests, or account data. AI Score may evaluate: ADX trend strength RSI direction confirmation SuperTrend slope Candle impulse relative to ATR Example: AI Score >= 60 If AI Score is below 60, the signal is rejected. ============================================================ 13. AI EXIT ============================================================ InpUseAIExit Enables or disables AI Exit. InpAIExitBelowScore Sets the AI Score level below which the indicator closes the virtual trade by AI Exit. InpAIExitMinBars Sets the minimum number of bars after entry before AI Exit is allowed. Example: InpUseAIExit = true InpAIExitBelowScore = 35 InpAIExitMinBars = 1 This means AI Exit can trigger no earlier than one candle after entry if AI Score falls below 35. ============================================================ 14. REJECTED SIGNALS ============================================================ A rejected signal means that SuperTrend generated a base signal, but the active filters did not allow an entry. Example: SuperTrend generated a Buy signal. ADX was below the minimum value. RSI did not confirm the buy direction. AI Score was below the minimum score. In this case, the normal Buy arrow is not displayed, but the indicator can show a rejected signal marker. Rejected signals are useful because they show not only where the system entered, but also where the system decided not to enter. ============================================================ 15. RECOMMENDED TIMEFRAMES ============================================================ The indicator can be used on different timeframes, but SuperTrend usually behaves more consistently on medium and higher timeframes. Recommended starting timeframes: M15 M30 H1 H4 On M1 and M5 there is more market noise. If lower timeframes are used, stricter filters are recommended. ============================================================ 16. PRACTICAL WORKFLOW ============================================================ A practical workflow may look like this: 1. Select a symbol and timeframe. 2. Add the indicator to the chart. 3. Start with balanced settings. 4. Review historical signals. 5. Check where Buy and Sell arrows appear. 6. Check how often price reaches ATR Take Profit. 7. Review rejected signals. 8. Check the WR shown in the statistics panel. 9. Adjust filters if needed. If there are too many signals, you can tighten the system: Increase SuperTrend Multiplier Increase ADX Min Increase AI Min Score Use stricter RSI levels If there are too few signals, you can relax the system: Decrease SuperTrend Multiplier Decrease ADX Min Decrease AI Min Score Use RSI 50/50 levels ============================================================ 17. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ============================================================ Does the indicator open trades? No. This is a visual indicator. It does not send trade orders. Why is there no arrow even though SuperTrend changed color? Most likely, the base signal was rejected by active ADX, RSI, or AI Score filters. Why does the statistics panel change on another timeframe? Because the calculation depends on historical data, volatility, timeframe, and indicator settings. Should I use the same parameters for all instruments? No. Each market should be tested and configured separately. Does AI Score use external artificial intelligence? No. It is a local scoring model calculated inside the indicator. ============================================================ 19. RISKS AND LIMITATIONS ============================================================ The indicator does not guarantee profit. Historical WR statistics are not a forecast of future performance. The indicator should be tested on a demo account before use on a live account. Each symbol and timeframe may require different settings. False signals can appear in sideways markets. Filters that are too strict may skip good moves. Filters that are too soft may allow too many weak entries. Final trading decisions are made by the trader. The indicator is an analysis tool, not financial advice. ============================================================ 20.
