Requirements Specification MT5 Expert Advisor — Smart Money Concepts (SMC) & Price Action Strategy Budget: $100 USD Deadline: 3 days from agreement date Platform: MetaTrader 5 (MT5) 1. Overview The Developer will build a fully automated MT5 Expert Advisor (EA) implementing a Smart Money Concepts (SMC) and Price Action trading strategy. The EA will determine higher-timeframe market bias, identify key price-delivery (PD) arrays on lower timeframes, and execute trades based on a defined liquidity-sweep and market-structure entry model. 2. Strategy Logic The strategy is executed in two parts: Steps 1–4 are performed on the Higher Timeframe (HTF) to identify the structural setup, and Steps 5–9 are performed on the Lower Timeframe (LTF) to confirm and execute the entry. 2.1 Higher Timeframe (HTF) — Steps 1 to 4 - Look for a liquidity sweep on the HTF selected by the user (Daily, H4, H1, 30-min, or 15-min). - Wait for a Break of Structure (BOS). - Identify the order block that caused the BOS and mark the zone. - Wait for price to return to the order block. 2.2 Lower Timeframe (LTF) — Steps 5 to 9 - Look for a conservative or aggressive entry model on the LTF selected by the user (30-min, 15-min, 5-min, or 1-min): - Conservative — market structure shift, then Fair Value Gap (FVG) - Aggressive — market structure shift, then Inverse Fair Value Gap (IFVG) - Identify which FVG or IFVG to use for the entry. - Place a limit order at the 50% level of the FVG or IFVG. - Set stop loss at the most recent swing high or low. - Set take profit at the nearest buy-side or sell-side liquidity. 2.3 PD Array Reference Across both timeframe stages, the EA identifies the following price-delivery (PD) array elements as part of its structure and entry logic: - Order Blocks (OB) - Change of Character (ChoCh) - Fair Value Gaps (FVG) - Inverse Fair Value Gaps (IFVG) - Break of Structure (BOS) - Liquidity sweeps (high/low wick grabs at key levels) 3. Configurable Settings 3.1 Timeframe Selection The Developer's original proposal paired the HTF and LTF as fixed combinations (e.g., 30-min HTF with 5-min LTF, or 15-min HTF with 1-min LTF). The Customer instead requires the HTF and LTF to be fully independent of one another — the two are not linked pairs, and any HTF option may be combined with any LTF option (e.g., H1 for HTF with M5 for LTF). The EA will therefore provide two separate dropdown settings: - HTF (bias/setup) options: Daily, H4, H1, 30-min, 15-min - LTF (entry) options: 30-min, 15-min, 5-min, 1-min Additional LTF options beyond this list may be added at the Customer's request as a minor adjustment. 3.2 Entry Model - IFVG only - Market Structure Shift (MSS) + IFVG 3.3 Risk Management Mode - Fixed lot size — user inputs a fixed lot size for all trades. - Fixed percentage — user inputs a fixed risk %; lot size is calculated from starting balance and stop-loss distance. - Risk % compounding — same as fixed percentage, but recalculated from the current (not starting) balance. 3.4 Additional Inputs - Take Profit / Stop Loss rule configuration - Trading session time filter (as committed by Developer in initial proposal) - SMC buffer/threshold settings 4. Deliverables - Compiled Expert Advisor file (.ex5) - Full source code (.mq5) 5. Notes Minor adjustments and refinements identified during testing may be made by mutual agreement without altering the core scope defined above. Any change materially altering scope, budget, or deadline should be confirmed in writing by both parties as an update to this document.
